DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Mix Directions: Add 3.5 ounces of Valiant
Catalyst (US) to one gallon of Valiant
Pre/Post and mix (27.3 mL Valiant Catalyst
(US) to 1 liter Valiant Pre/Post (US)). Inverting
the container approximately 5-7 times will
adequately mix the two solutions. This
mixed solution will remain stable for 7 days.
After 7 days, discard solution and mix a new
solution.
IMPORTANT: Do not add mixed Valiant
Pre/Post (US) ready-to-use to any other
teat dip or other products. If transferred
from this container to any other, make sure
the other container is thoroughly
precleaned and bears the proper container
labeling for Valiant Pre/Post (US).
Use of a complete cow-care program
including both pre and post dipping may
aid in reducing the spread of organisms
which may cause mastitis.
DIRECTIONS FOR TEAT DIPPING
Pre-Milking: Fill teat dip cup with Valiant
Pre/Post (US). Before each cow is milked,
dip the teats as far as possible into the teat
dip cup containing Valiant Pre/Post (US).
Wipe teats dry after dipping, using singleservice
towels to avoid contamination of
milk.
Udder and teats which are heavily soiled
should be washed before using a
premilking teat dip. Teats should be dried
with a single-service towel and dipped in
Valiant Pre/Post (US), wiping teats dry
before milking.
Post-Milking: Immediately after milking,
use Valiant Pre/Post (US) at full strength.
Submerge teat 2/3 their length in Valiant
Pre/Post (US) teat dip. Allow to air dry. Do
not wipe. Always use fresh full strength
Valiant Pre/Post (US). If product in dip cup
becomes visibly dirty, discard contents
and replenish with undiluted product. Do
not reuse or return unused product to the
original container.
Do not turn cows into freezing weather
until Valiant Pre/Post (US) is completely
dry.
NOTE: Valiant Pre/Post (US) is not
intended to cure or help in the healing of
chapped or irritated teats. In case of
irritation or chapping, have the condition
examined and, if necessary, treated by a
veterinarian.
