CORTISOOTHE ^® Shampoo is an anti-inflammatory, antipruritic and soothing shampoo specifically formulated for the topical treatment of dermatological conditions responsive to corticosteroids in dogs, cats and horses, such as pruritic erythematous dermatoses; i.e., atopy, and flea-bite dermatitis.

■ USES

CORTISOOTHE Shampoo is an anti-inflammatory and antipruritic that may be used on dogs, cats and horses of any age.

■ ACTIVE INGREDIENT

Hydrocortisone 1.0% w/w (10 mg/mL).

■ CONTAINS

Water, sodium C14-16 olefin sulfonate, cocamidopropyl betaine, magnesium aluminum silicate, colloidal oatmeal, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, lactic acid, tetrasodium EDTA, methylchloroisothiazolinone, methylisothiazolinone and fragrance.

■ DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Shake well before use. Wet the hair coat with warm water and apply a sufficient amount of shampoo to create a rich lather. Massage CORTISOOTHE Shampoo into wet hair coat, lather freely. Rinse and repeat. Allow to remain on hair coat for 5 to 10 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with clean water.

Frequency of use: Initially two to three times a week for four weeks, then reducing to once a week, or as directed by your veterinarian.

■ WARNING

Keep out of reach of children. Wash hands after using. (Under clinical conditions with multiple applications, gloves should be worn.)

■ CAUTION

Federal law (USA) restricts this drug to be used by or on the order of a licensed veterinarian.

For animal use only. For topical use only. Avoid contact with eyes or mucous membranes. If condition persists or no improvement in 10 days, consult your veterinarian.
