OXYGEN 2

MEDICAL GAS

For emergency use only when administered by properly trained personnel for oxygen deficiency and resuscitation. For all other medical applications, RX only.

Uninterrupted use of high concentration of oxygen over a long duration, without monitoring its effects on oxygen content of arterial blood, may be harmful. Use only with pressure reducing equipment and apparatus designed for oxygen. Do not attempt to use on patients who have stopped breathing, unless used in conjunction with resuscitative equipment.

WARNING: KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. HIGH PRESSURE OXIDIZING GAS.  VIGOROUSLY ACCELERATES COMBUSTION.

Keep oil, grease and other combustibles away. Oxygen reacts violently with oil or grease (body oil, hand lotion and items containing oil or grease), and can cause fire and severe burns. Open valve slowly and close after each use. Keep away from heat, flame or sparks. Do not strike arc or laser beam on cylinder. Transport, store, and use with adequate ventilation. Use equipment rated for cylinder pressure. Use a back flow preventive device in the piping. Cylinder temperature should not exceed 52˚C (125˚F). Always secure cylinder in upright position. Return cylinder with 25 psig pressure. Return cylinder with cylinder cap secured, if applicable. Use this product in accordance with its specific Material Safety Data Sheet, available at Web Site:  www.lindeus.com.
